At Drury Precision we believe that good products start with good design. A good design merges functionality and aesthetics with efficient manufacturing processes.
We are pleased to manufacture components from customers’ own designs or to assist with the design process, using our engineering experience.
Using Solid Works 3D Modelling software, we create 3D models of the customers' project, which offers the following advantages:
- Minimisation of design errors
- Realistic visualisation of the product's appearance
- Creation of accurate, error free 2D engineering drawings
- Importation of files into our 3D Rapid Prototype Machine
- We can accept 3D models from the customer’s own sources.
At Drury Precision, we believe that a prototype should fully represent the actual product. We manufacture prototypes in exactly the same way as the final product, which ensures that the prototype accurately reflects what will be produced and that the job is production-ready.
Where appropriate, Solid models can be imported into our 'Dimension' Rapid Prototyping Machine which produces accurate physical models. These models assist visualisation of new products and are also strong enough to be tested for functionality. We can offer Rapid Prototyping as a stand-alone service using customers’ models, if required.
Unlike most design offices offering Rapid Prototyping our services extend to manufacturing, providing a complete solution.
When a design has been ratified, the files are transferred to Lantek or Edgecam CAM software and the job is production ready.
