The scope of our quality registration includes design and we are always pleased to apply our experience and design skills to help our customers develop new products and improve the quality of existing ones.
Our use of 3D Solid Modelling software for all projects allows us to minimise design errors, provide visualisations for customer’s approval and incorporate any design iterations before cutting metal. This usually results in prototypes being ‘right first time’.
Where appropriate, physical prototypes can be produced on our Rapid Prototype Machine in ABS material. These prototypes are strong and accurate and can be handled and tested for function. Customers’ can give approval with confidence before we proceed to metal.
We manufacture prototypes in exactly the same way as the final product, which ensures that the prototype accurately reflects what will be produced in production and that the job is production-ready.
Quotations are prepared quickly and accurately with MIE-Trak software and jobs are bar-code tracked through each stage of manufacture and inspection before final dispatch. The associated production data and the ability to part-mark allows us to closely monitor progress against timelines and provides complete traceability for customers and ourselves.
It is our policy to acquire the best technology and machinery that we can afford. We are always looking for the next piece of equipment that will either extend our range of capabilities or perform existing operations better.
